SOFC 2017

Following expenses, the CHEO Foundation has thus far received the amount of $2,663.00 from the Sing Out For CHEO event of 2017.

From Danny Sylvestre, CHEO Ambassador, and on behalf of his daughter Marychelle, and all of the Sing Out For CHEO members who participated in this year’s version of the event, we thank you for your donations and we hope to see you at our next event.

A letter from Kevin Keohane

“Dear Friend,

You have made so many things possible in 2017! Because of your support CHEO is better, stronger and more able to respond to the needs of children and families. When you gather with loved ones this holiday season and reflect on 2017, we want you to know how tremendously thankful we are for your generosity and for how far your donations have taken CHEO this year.

Donors like you helped to purchase a neonatal transport incubator, literally an intensive care unit on wheels, to bring fragile infants safely to CHEO. Donations brought five more hearing-impaired children the gift of sound by funding bone conduction hearing aids. Generous gifts opened the doors of a new facility with modern treatment rooms at the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre and our goal to provide more life-saving procedures through an improved catheterization lab and interventional suite was realized thanks to community support. These are just a few examples but in ways big and small you helped the doctors, nurses, researchers and staff at CHEO continue their work and ease some of the pressure on families who need our care and support.

There is more work to do, and we are looking forward to making 2018 an exceptional year for families. With donors like you supporting CHEO, we will continue to provide the best life for every child and youth. Thank you for all you have done and all that we will accomplish together.

From our family to yours, all the best of the holiday season. Thank you for caring.”
